Rolling out the Computing Unlocked Scheme of Work
The following documents are to help you prepare your school in using Computing Unlocked. The documents include: an editable example of how to map the scheme across the school, a list of free and payed for Apps used in both Foundation Phase and KS2 to be downloaded. Note: Where you have a choice of Apps that are similar in what they produce only purchase one (you may have already bought said Apps) for example: Green Screen by Do Ink or Vee-Scope, feel free to contact us for any advice.
Where possible we have kept costs to a minimum therefore, when we recommend purchasing an App it is due to the skill which is learned from using the App. Apart from Apps on tablets the scheme also includes the use of Microsoft Office, HWB, Kodu and Scratch 2 on laptops or PC's. You will also find a flowchart which can be used as a guide for the ICT co-ordinator to help them roll out Computing Unlocked.
